

From Denver International Airport
Take Interstate 70 West unitl you get to exit 205 for Silverthorne, Dillon, & Keystone. The next exit 208 takes you to Frisco and Breckenridge. Another 10 miles west on I-70 takes you to Copper Mountain. Summit County is 85 miles (140km) from Denver International Airport. Please take note that Denver area skier traffic on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays can add 30-60 minutes to the drive time between DIA and Summit County.
From Vail & Eagle County
Take Interstate 70 East from Vail or Eagle County Airport. Copper Mountain is 20 miles (33km) east of Vail, 50 miles (80km) east of Eagle County Airport.. Continue another 10 miles (17km) to exit 208 for Frisco and Breckenridge, and exit 205 for Silverthorne, Dillon, & Keystone.
You can get a ride directly from the Airport to your accomodations in Summit County. At Denver International go to level 5, Baggage Level. The following companies provide this service. Reservations are required.
Car rentals are normally available at the airport, and in Summit County. Be sure to make a reservation prior to arriving! Rental cars are normally equipped with snow tires in the Winter, but it's wise to ask and be sure. Also, don't forget to request ski racks!
The Free Bus
The best way to get around Summit County is by the Summit Stage FREE bus service.
Driving
Driving is easy in Summit County with excellent roads that are always well maintained.
If you plan to venture off the major routes, however, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is
recommended as the snow plows clear the major roads first!
